HR Officer

Splash Boutiques is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, highly organized, and ready to play a key role in supporting our staff and shaping a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage the recruitment process, including preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, and coordinating interviews and hiring.

  • Organize and coordinate staff training sessions and professional development programs.

  • Monitor staff attendance and performance, keeping accurate records.

  • Advise managers and employees on employment law and company policies to support informed and compliant decision-making.

  • Support in handling disciplinary procedures and employee performance issues.

  • Participate in salary negotiations, contract management, and discussions on working conditions.

  • Handle sensitive or stressful situations with diplomacy and empathy.

  • Coordinate and manage staff holiday and day-off scheduling.

  • Lead and coordinate regular employee performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in an HR Officer, Administrator, or similar HR role.

  • Solid knowledge of core HR functions such as recruitment, training, pay & benefits.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the company.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of diplomacy and emotional intelligence, especially in sensitive situations.

  • Strong attention to detail, ethics, and confidentiality.

  • Effective organizational and planning skills.

  • University Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus employment law.

  • Good numerical and analytical skills.

  • Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken) is required.
