eCommerce Manager
Splash Boutiques is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented eCommerce Manager to oversee the daily operations of our online store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product uploads, ensuring the accuracy and alignment of all product information, processing orders, and working closely with other teams to optimize the online shopping experience.
The eCommerce Manager will also be expected to analyze eCommerce data to drive sales performance and work collaboratively with the social media team to promote products effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Management & Uploading
Upload and maintain products on the eCommerce platform, ensuring all information (titles,
descriptions, pricing, images, etc.) is accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Continuously monitor and update the product catalog as new products arrive, seasonal
changes occur, and promotions are introduced.
Ensure product data is optimized for SEO to drive organic traffic.
2. Order Processing & Fulfillment
Oversee the daily processing of customer orders, ensuring smooth and efficient fulfillment.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely shipping and delivery of orders.
Handle any issues related to order processing, returns, and exchanges.
3. eCommerce Analytics & Reporting
Monitor and analyze key eCommerce metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Track performance against sales targets and KPIs, providing regular insights and reporting on online sales performance.
Identify opportunities to optimize the customer journey and increase conversion rates.
4. Collaboration with Social Media & Marketing Teams
Work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure products are prominently featured and promoted across various platforms.
Provide product insights and recommendations for social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with eCommerce goals.
Collaborate on strategies to boost product visibility, engage customers, and drive traffic to the website.
5. Sales Targets & Procedures
Support the implementation of sales strategies and targets, ensuring that the team is working towards achieving company sales goals.
Follow and enforce established procedures for managing product listings, order fulfillment and customer service to ensure a seamless and effective process.
6. Customer Experience
Address any customer service issues related to the online store in a timely manner.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related fields
Proven experience as an eCommerce Manager or similar role in a retail or online business environment.
Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other eCommerce analytics tools to assess site performance and drive improvements.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and product data optimization.
Experience with order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment.
Ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., marketing, social media).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong visual aesthetics and product image sourcing is a plus.
